Screening and Classification
We offer various particle separation methods — mechanical air classification and air classifier milling — as well as screening: single or multiple decks; stand alone or part of a sizing system; in conjunction with blending and/or repackaging (see below). Our technical staff helps you select the best equipment for your unique particle separation needs.
Repackaging
We’ll repack your materials in concert with our size reduction or blending work, or even on a stand-alone basis. This allows you to personalize your packages and facilitate direct shipment from our factory to your clients. Equipment and techniques include automated bagging equipment; paper or paper with polyethylene barriers; super sacks; drums; gaylord boxes; pails; stretch wrapping; customer- or CPS-supplied packaging; and stenciling and labeling to your specifications.
Surface Treatment
Using the same application, we can coat particles a low percentage with friendly oils to de-dust micronized materials. The most commonly used surface modifiers — silane coupling agents, or silanes — have the characteristic property to bond together both inorganic and organic dissimilar materials. Surface conditioning methods are used in conjunction with the silanization of filler particles, glass fibers, and ceramic surfaces, emphasizing the importance of the role of a silane coupling agent in the promotion of adhesion.
