Governor's Impact Awards

Harrisburg, PA – Custom Processing Services, Inc. is being recognized for creating jobs that pay and their economic impact within the commonwealth as part of the third annual Governor’s ImPAct Awards. Awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, Pa. on May 21, 2015.

“It is edifying to be recognized for all the hard work our entire team has put into making our company succeed,” Gregg Shemanski, President, said. “When Jeff and I started, all we had was a big, mostly empty, warehouse and a strong desire to be successful. With the support of our family and friends, we were able to grow the company to where it is now. And we have no plans of slowing down in the future.”

Custom Processing Services, Inc. was nominated for the ImPAct Awards because of continued growth and creation of family-sustaining manufacturing jobs.

The Governor’s ImPAct Awards recognizes companies from throughout the state in five categories: Community Impact, Entrepreneurial Impact, Export Impact, Jobs That Pay, and Small Business Impact. Custom Processing Services, Inc. was nominated for an Entrepreneurial ImPAct award.

  • Entrepreneur ImPAct Award – This award is given to an entrepreneur who has led his or her company to a position of strength in the marketplace by way of growth in one or all of the following areas: creativity, innovation, managerial ability, leadership skills, and turnaround.
